David Caplan

Mr. Caplan is a Security Engineer at Tresys Technology. For the past four years he has been involved with analyzing SELinux policies, writing policy analysis and management tools, and writing SELinux policy. Mr. Caplan was also a member of the Tresys team that developed the conditional policy language extension to SELinux. He continues to be heavily involved in various areas of SELinux development and policy analysis.

Mr. Caplan's career has spanned a wide variety of computer security related activities including vulnerability assessment work, Common Criteria and Orange Book evaluation efforts, IDS systems, and many other areas. Mr. Caplan has a B.S. in Computer Science from Syracuse University, and an MS in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University.
